Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy includes our web and mobile application platforms including Tippr-app.com, Tipprapp.com, Tipprpay.com (“Company”, “We”, “Us”). This Privacy Policy also applies to your use of and downloads that we own or control or are available through our Platform.

By downloading our application or using our web interface your agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please Review our Terms and Conditions for additional information, restrictions and conditions.

Personal Information: When setting up and using our web or mobile application you will be asked to provide information, necessary to complete the registration. In addition, to your basic information (name, email, Tippr ID, password, PIN, profile image, bio) you may be asked to provide other private information such as, but not limited to date of birth, address, phone number, and last four of your social security number. Persons setting up a business account may also be required to provide their Tax ID number. Your profile information will be fully encrypted and stored on our secured servers. Tippr will never disperse, sell, disclose, or discuss your personal information with other individuals, companies or third parties other than what is required to process payments or by subpeona from law enforcement agencies.

Public Information: Certain information is necessary in identifying you to other users (username, bio, image) and this information will be visible to other users. By using our Platform you give your consent to display this information.

Fiancial Information: TipprPay uses Stripe (a third party payment processor) for the completion of money transfers. The processor will require that you enter a credit/debit card in order to send tips or make payments. Additionally, you will need to add your bank information for receiving tips & payments. This information is considered extremely sensitive and is NOT stored on our servers. Instead, this information will be sent directly to, and stored on the processor’s fully encrypted, bank grade secured server. When you submit a transaction, a "call" is made to the processor who then returns a “token” which is used to complete the transaction, your actual card information is not passed back to us for payment.

Cookies: Cookies are data files placed on a computer or device when it visits or accesses a page. Cookies may be used for many purposes, including, but not limited to, remembering and/or tracking your visits to our web pages. If you do not want your information collected, you can disable Cookies in your browser or device. The Company has no control over the use of Cookies by third-parties and is not covered by our Privacy Policy.

Mobile Information: Our Services are primarily provided through an application on your mobile phone, tablet or iPAD. You acknowledge that we may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to, technical information about your device, system and application software, and other peripherals. When you are using our Mobile App, the Mobile Application may automatically collect and store some or all of the following information from your mobile device:

  • Your preferred language and country site (if applicable)
  • Your phone number or other unique device identifier assigned to your mobile device – such as the International Mobile Equipment Identity or the Mobile Equipment ID number
  • The IP address of your mobile device
  • The manufacturer and model of your mobile device
  • Your mobile operating system
  • The type of mobile Internet browsers you are using
  • Your geolocation
  • Information about how you interact with the Mobile Application and any of our web sites to which the Mobile Application links, such as how many times you use a specific part of the mobile application over a given time period, the amount of time you spend using the Mobile Application, how often you use the Mobile Application, actions you take in the Mobile Application and how you engage with the Mobile Application
  • Information to allow us to personalize the services and content available through the Mobile Application

Any information collected by the Mobile Application is for the Company’s sole use and will not be disclosed, released, or sold to any third party. The information gathered will be used for, but not limited to improving functionality, determining what features are most used, locating potential bugs and error codes for individual devices, analysis and to investigate potential fraud.

We reserve the right to add to, remove or otherwise update our Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes to our information practices. In addition, the Company may, from time to time, send informational and promotional text messages to the cell phone number associated with your account. If you do not wish to receive text messages, you can reply "stop" to discontinue this feature. It is recommended that you review the Privacy Policy from time to time to stay apprised of current policy.
